What time is check out and check in?
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Check-in time is 2:00 p.m.
Special arrangements can be
made for early check-in or a late check-out, subject to availability.
What can I expect when I get to the resort? From the moment you walk
through the gate you will immediately notice a calm, relaxing feel. Many
of our first time guests comment on the "good karma" feel when they enter
the resort. We will check you in, give you a tour and show you to your room.
Will there be more singles or couples staying? Singles and Couples are
welcomed and we get a good mix of both at the resort.
Do you allow day passes? We do not allow day passes at Tortuga del Sol.
Will I see an orgy by the pool? Sexual activity does not occur in common
areas during daylight hours. We are a clothing optional resort, which simply
means you can be naked while staying here. We are very popular with natural
sun worshippers. If you are looking for a more "sexually charged" atmosphere
we will be glad to direct you to the resorts that are.
Is it necessary to get a rental car while in Palm Springs? Although it is not
imperative to have a car while vacationing in Palm Springs, if you plan on
doing any sightseeing (such as a daytrip to Joshua Tree National Park, or a visit
to the Living Desert) we recommend a rental car. We are walking distance to
downtown, many restaurants and nightclubs. Taxi service is readily available
throughout the city.
How close is the Convention Center?
We are about 1.5 miles from the Palm Springs Convention Center.

We have become a top choice resort to
stay at because of our many guests that have spread the word about us. Clean
and comfortable accommodations with the comforts of home, along with our
emphasis on hospitality have earned us a 90% return rate.
Is the staff friendly?
We are owner operated and live at the resort so you can
be assured that we'll do everything in our power to make sure your stay is a
comfortable and memorable one.
I've noticed you are pet friendly. Will I be bothered by barking dogs on
my stay with you? We decided to make one of our suites pet friendly because
we know, like us many of our guests are animal lovers and only travel with
their pets. The suite also has its own fenced yard and is located at the end of
the garden area. At no time will there ever be more than one room with a pet.
Pets must always be leashed while on property and are not allowed in the pool
and Jacuzzi areas. Most times you will never even notice when we have a guest with a
pet staying with us.
