Simply the best vacation we've had in years! Rick and Robert are the best hosts offering sincere, genuine, and thoughtful hospitality before and throughout our stay. We've been to several gay-owned facilities and have never been treated as warmly as here. The facility was superb (clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable, relaxing, and just the right size), the location doesn't get any better with easy access to bars, shopping, restaurants and the airport. Their clientele were great fun and engaging. We've made friendships that will continue to develop. I appreciated that the resort wasn't cruisy. While beautiful people (naked!) everywhere, the setting was always comfortable and appropriate. We'll definitely be back. Robert and Rick should be proud of their home and their ability to welcome so many so genuinely.

As I sit in my Condo looking out into the snow and freezing temperatures I am even more aware of the warm times I had at Tortuga Del Sol. It is not always easy traveling alone but you made my stay very welcoming and warm. The weather may not have been as expected but shorts and t-shirt are preferable to ski jackets, hat and mitts. I thorougly enjoyed my all-too-breif visit to Tortuga del Sol. You have established a very pleasant and relaxing environment for gay men. It was New Years Eve weekend when I was there- a good time to spend at your intimate resort away from the realities of life. I found the accomodations to be clean, very pleasant, well furnished, and ideal for relaxation and to unwind- which I did. The rooms were well appointed with tasteful furnishings, a comfortable bed, and amenities to suit every need.

I will wholeheartedly recommend Tortuga del Sol to my friends and will certainly return at my next opportunity. You two have created a wonderful place and I hope you continue to enjoy being the wonderful hosts that you are for many years to come.

Hafta start this email commenting on Rick's Buns-his homemade Cinnamon buns-geez, get your minds out of the gutter.They were wonderful and just added to the whole experience.
Rick and Rob, you guys made my weekend superb. I went to relax and relax I did! You made me feel welcome and Rick gave me a hard time about his cinnamon buns and nuts and sarcasm made me feel right at home. Your establishment is classy. It felt nice not having to worry about being nude and having 'vultures' attack like at some other places.
I definitely plan on returning as often as possible-if you can handle me again!
